Phred Kaufman is a long-time resident of Hokkaido and one of the most renowned foreign beer importers we know of. His bar in Susukino has a collection of over 5,000 beers on the walls and many amazing ones for you to taste. Phred does a lot of volunteer work as well including dressing up as Santa (you’ll understand why as soon as you see him!) and delivering gifts to children in the local orphanages at Christmas time.
