About Me

I’m Delaina, a gal of many trades and every day is a new adventure. Weekdays might find me teaching English at Universities, preschools, and everything in between. Or possibly downtown recording a new announcement for the city’s transportation. Weekends and holidays might find me on the stage performing my original blend of “retro jazz and modern pop joy” or perhaps out on a lake in my kayak or camping. And there will be those random dates that I find myself swept along on a travel itinerary fliming programing as a travel reporter. I hope this blog will be a platform where my many adventures can come alive for all of those interested in Hokkaido and Japan at large.
